Meteorological center warns of cold wave in mountainous areas

SANAA, Nov. 08 (YPA) – The national center for meteorology warned citizens, especially the elderly, children very cold wave targeting several mountainous provinces of Yemen.

In its weather forecast on Saturday, the center advised farmers, livestock, beekeepers, and poultry farmers in mountainous regions to take the necessary measures against the wave.

It affirmed that the the cold wave will target the provinces of Bayda, Dhalea, Ibb, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran, Jawf, and Saada, Marib, Mahweet, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, and Hadramawt.

The center also warns of sea disturbances and high waves south of the western coast and the Bab al-Mandab strait.
