Sanaa Interior Ministry announces arrest of “spy network” linked to joint US-Israeli-Saudi operations room
SANAA, Nov. 08 (YPA) – The Ministry of Interior in the Sanaa government announced on Saturday the execution of a “qualitative security operation” dubbed (And the plotting of those will perish), through which it successfully arrested a large “espionage network.”
The ministry confirmed in a statement issued today that this network is affiliated with a “Joint Operations Room” comprising the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Israeli Mossad, and Saudi intelligence, with its headquarters located on Saudi territory.
The statement explained that the achievement was realized after comprehensive “investigations, monitoring, and follow-up” operations that exposed the enemy’s plans and the working methods of the traitorous elements.
The network’s main alleged tasks:
- Coordinating sabotage and espionage efforts and forming separate cells linked to the joint room.
- Monitoring Yemen’s infrastructure, military, and security facilities, including military manufacturing sites and launch locations for missiles and drones targeting “Israel.”
- Gathering intelligence on civilian and military leaders and their headquarters.
- Involvement in the bloodshed of civilians and providing the enemy with coordinates to target service installations.
The statement indicated that the purpose of establishing this joint intelligence room comes in the context of attempting to stop the Yemeni military operations supporting Gaza.
The Interior Ministry concluded its statement by confirming that it will publish the confessions of the espionage cell members at a later date.
