Israeli occupation issues military orders to uproot trees from lands near Ramallah

WEST BANK, Nov. 03 (YPA) – Israeli occupation authorities issued a military order today to uproot trees from the lands of the villages of Ras Karkar and Kafr Ni’ma, west of Ramallah.

The order stipulates the removal and uprooting of trees from the areas of Al-Wajh Al-Gharbi and Jabal Al-Risan in Ras Karkar, and Al-Awrid in Kafr Ni’ma, “for military purposes.”

The targeted area is approximately 15 dunams.

From October 7, 2023, until October 7, 2025, colonists carried out a total of 7,154 attacks against Palestinian citizens and their property, resulting in the uprooting, destruction, and damage of a total of 48,728 trees, including 37,237 olive trees, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
