SANAA, Oct. (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning issued on Monday warnings of a relatively cold wave.
In its weather forecast, the center predicted scattered rains in the provinces of Socotra, Taiz, Ibb, Rayma, Hajjah, Mahweet, Hodieda, western Dhamar, and Saada, and they may extend to parts of Dhalea, Lahj, and Abyan, in additional to Socotra Archipelago and parts of the southern coast.
The center also warned citizens and drivers against risking floodwaters or venturing into valleys and ravines during and after the expected rainfall in parts of the highlands and coastal areas, especially Socotra.
It called on citizens to warn of poor visibility due to fog on roads and mountain slopes.
