GAZA, Oct. 08 (YPA) – UNICEF spokesman Ricardo Pires said that the children of Gaza are the ones who paid the greatest price for two years of “unprecedented” violence, due to the genocide Israeli occupation has been committing for two years.
In a news statement, Pires appealed for a ceasefire, stressing that children in Gaza are being subjected to horrors no child should ever experience.
He emphasized that children in Gaza have paid almost the greatest price for the ongoing Israeli attacks, which have lasted for two years.
“One child in Gaza is killed or injured every 17 minutes, a figure that is shocking and unacceptable,” he added.
