Al-Nunu: Prisoners’ lists required to be released are exchanged

GAZA, Oct. 08 (YPA) – Media advisor to the head of Hamas’s political bureau, Taher Al-Nunu, confirmed on Wednesday that the Hamas delegation had demonstrated the positivity and responsibility necessary to achieve the required progress and complete the agreement.

From the heart of Sharm el-Sheikh, Al-Nunu stressed that the mediators were making great efforts to remove any obstacles to implementing the ceasefire, with a spirit of optimism prevailing among all.

“The negotiations focused on the mechanisms for implementing the end of the war, the withdrawal of the occupation forces from the Gaza Strip, and the exchange deal of prisoners,” he added. “Today, the lists of prisoners to be released were exchanged according to the agreed-upon criteria and numbers”.

Al-Nunu clarified, indirect negotiations continue today with the participation of all parties and mediators.”
