Israeli occupation closes Al-Rashid Street in Gaza City

GAZA, Oct. 01 (YPA)- The Israeli occupation army announced, on Wednesday, that it will close Al-Rashid Street in Gaza City, the last available passage for residents of southern Gaza to reach the north.

The spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army, Avichay Adraee, said in a post on the “X” platform: “Al-Rashid Street will be closed to movement from the southern area of the Gaza Strip at exactly 12:00 PM, 9:00 AM GMT.”

He added: “Movement southward will be allowed. For those unable to evacuate Gaza City at this stage, the army permits free and unchecked movement south.”

This comes as the occupation army continues its assault on Gaza City.
