GAZA, Sept. 30 (YPA) – At least 35 Palestinians, including 18 aid seekers, were killed and others wounded in a series of attacks and shelling by the Israeli occupation army across the Gaza Strip since dawn on Tuesday.
According to medical sources and eyewitnesses, the Israeli airstrikes targeted inhabited homes, tents sheltering displaced people, and aid seekers.
The breakdown of the casualties is as follows:
In central Gaza Strip, 25 Palestinians were killed in attacks targeting areas such as Deir al-Balah, Nuseirat Camp, and Al-Bureij Camp. Among the victims were a mother and her six children, killed in a shelling attack on the Al-Baz family home in Deir al-Balah. Additionally, 18 Palestinians were killed and 33 others wounded by Israeli army fire near a distribution center in the vicinity of the “Netzarim” axis while waiting for aid.
In northern Gaza Strip (Gaza City), six Palestinians were killed in separate attacks, with three casualties near the Palestine Stadium, two in Al-Tuffah neighborhood, and one in Al-Shati Camp.
In southern Gaza Strip (Khan Younis), four Palestinians were killed, including a father, his pregnant wife, and their child, in a shelling that hit a displaced people’s tent near Al-Attar station in the Al-Mawasi area.
The sources describe these actions as part of the ongoing crime of “genocide” aimed at occupying Gaza City and displacing its residents.
In a related development, reports indicate that Israeli military vehicles have retreated from Al-Jalaa Street in the center of Gaza City.
