Senior Sanaa official ridicules Al-Alimi’s threats of resuming ground war

SANAA, Sept. 28 (YPA) – Member of the Ansarallah political office, Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, harshly criticized on Sunday statements made by the Saudi-backed head of Presidential Council in Aden, Rashed Al-Alimi, who threatened to resume the ground war against Sanaa.

Al-Bukhaiti posted on X that Al-Alimi’s threat to ignite a ground war aim to serve Israeli occupation’s interests and stop Yemen’s military operations supporting Gaza, all in service of the Zionist entity.

Al-Bukhaiti added: “The Yemeni people, from Saada to Mahra, are chanting Gaza Is Our Red Line.”

This criticism comes as part of a recurring stance by Al-Bukhaiti, who responded similarly to statements by al-Alimi in late March. At that time, Al-Alimi had offered the United States to destabilize the situation internally in Yemen to stop the military operations of Sana’a-backed forces supporting Gaza against “Israel”.

In response, Al-Bukheiti said: “While the Muslim residents of Gaza are pleading for help to be saved from genocide. “These mercenaries declare that US airstrikes on Yemen are insufficient to stop our operations supporting Gaza and offer to destabilize the situation internally in Yemen to stop them.”

Al-Bukheiti added, rhetorically: “Isn’t this an official and practical admission that they are the first line of defense for the Zionist entity?” In a reference to previous statements by the coalition-run officials and agents in Yemen and abroad.
