Israeli media: Explosion, smoke reported in Eilat following drone infiltration

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Sept. 24 (YPA) – Israeli media outlets reported on Wednesday evening that sirens were activated in the Um Al Rashrash area (Eilat) in occupied Palestine due to an intruding drone.

According to Hebrew media, an explosion was heard and smoke was seen rising in Eilat following the drone’s intrusion.

The Israeli military acknowledged that a drone launched from Yemen had hit the Eilat area after attempts to intercept it failed.

The Israeli occupation army radio also stated that the drone had hit a target within the city of Eilat. “For the second time this week, a Yemeni drone has struck the center of Eilat,” the radio reported.

Israeli emergency services announced that four people were injured in the drone’s explosion in Eilat, with one person in serious condition.
