Hamas: Zionist enemy reflects its bankruptcy by threatening Birzeit University students due to popular anger over genocide in Gaza
OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Sept. 22 (YPA) – Abdul Rahman Shadid, a leader in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), stressed that the storming of Birzeit University by the Zionist enemy forces constitutes a desperate attempt to stop the resistance movement in the West Bank, which is led by revolutionary youth.
In a press statement on Monday, Shadid said that the enemy’s threat to the Islamic Bloc and its attempts to dissuade students from participating in its activities reflects its bankruptcy in the face of growing student awareness and mounting popular anger over the continuing crime of genocide and starvation in the Gaza Strip.
He added that the students of Birzeit University are writing bright pages of pride and heroism, following in the footsteps of their martyred colleague, the heroic Qassam fighter Muthanna Amro, who carried out the shooting operation in occupied Jerusalem, and the heroes and engineers who preceded him from among the university’s students and graduates.
