Two Palestinian children killed as Israeli airstrikes hit Gaza school shelter

GAZA, Sept. 20 (YPA) – Two children were killed and several civilians were injured on Saturday when Israeli occupation warplanes bombed the Al-Mu’tasim School, which houses displaced persons near the Yarmouk Stadium in Gaza City.

The occupation army carried out continuous bombing operations against residential buildings in Gaza City, while drones launched several raids on the Al-Sabra neighborhood northwest of the city, coinciding with heavy shelling and the detonation of car bombs in the northwest.

Israeli warplanes also launched a series of raids on the Tal al-Hawa area southwest of Gaza City, while its artillery targeted the northern areas of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The occupation forces opened fire on people waiting for aid near the Netzarim junction in the central Gaza Strip, and Israeli aircraft bombed the vicinity of the electricity company in the Nuseirat refugee camp, causing extensive damage to the facilities.
