Militant shot dead in drive-by shooting in Shabwa

SHABWA, Sept. 15 (YPA) – A militant was assassinated by unknown assailants in Hubban district of Shabwa province, which is under the control of Emirati-backed armed factions.

A human rights source confirmed that gunmen riding a car opened fire on Mohammed Salem Al-Jasari Al-Jasari on Sunday in the middle of a main street near the Al-Hamira area of the district.

The source explained that the armed elements managed to escape to an unknown destination, without knowing the identity of the perpetrators.

Shabwa province are being witnessed unprecedented security chaos, amid the widespread presence of UAE-funded militias and the absence of state authorities since 2016.
