Israeli helicopters, drones target southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Sept. 13 (YPA) – Hebrew media reported that the Israeli Air Force launched an air aggression, on Saturday, targeting several areas in southern Lebanon via helicopters, in a new escalation of the tension on the Lebanese-Palestinian border.

In the same context, local Lebanese sources reported that an Israeli drone raided the outskirts of the border town of Aita al-Shaab, without confirmed reports of casualties so far.

This development comes amid continued violations by the occupation forces of the ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon, at a time when observers warn of the situation slipping into a wider confrontation that may include other fronts.
