Qatar accuses “Israel” of ‘state terrorism,’ vowing regional response

DOHA, Sept. 11 (YPA) – Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani announced that his country will not accept threats from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In an interview with CNN, Al Thani confirmed that a regional response to the attack on Qatar’s capital, Doha, is expected.

Sheikh Mohammed described the Israeli attack as “state terrorism,” expressing “great anger” over the act. He asserted that Netanyahu was not serious about the mediation process and was merely wasting the time of key players.

He added that “Israel, under Netanyahu’s leadership, undermines any chance for stability and peace and he should be brought to justice as a wanted person by the International Criminal Court.”

The Qatari primer confirmed that the response to the attack would be coordinated with regional partners, and consultations are currently underway.

These statements come amid escalating tensions in the region and ongoing Israeli violations of international law.
