Hebrew media: Military censorship imposes a publishing ban on four missing soldiers in Al-Zaytoun neighbourhood
OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Aug. 30 (YPA) -Hebrew Hadshot Habizek Website reported that the Israeli occupation military issued an order prohibiting the publication of any information about the four soldiers who went missing in the Al-Zaytoun neighbourhood of Gaza City until an official statement is made by the Israeli army spokesperson.
Military censorship prevented the release of details regarding what happened to the four soldiers last night.
Palestinian resistance forces carried out three ambushes in the Al-Zaytoun neighbourhood in Gaza City, which resulted in the death of one Israeli soldier, the injury of 11 others, and the disappearance of four soldiers whose communication was lost.
Hebrew sources described the ambushes as a “difficult security event” in the eastern part of Gaza City.
They noted that the Israeli occupation forces were ambushed in the Al-Zaytoun neighbourhood, southeast of Gaza City, and that an Israeli rescue unit came under attack while attempting to evacuate soldiers from the site of the first operation. Fierce clashes took place at the ambush location with resistance fighters.
In response, the occupation military is said to be searching for four missing soldiers and has activated the “Hannibal Protocol,” which is used in suspected cases of abduction.
