GPC Party expels Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh from its membership

SANAA, Aug. 28 (YPA) – The General Committee of the General People’s Congress (GPC) Party, in a meeting held on Thursday in Sanaa approved the dismissal of Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh from the party.

The meeting, chaired by the GPC’s President Sadiq bin Amin Abu Ras, discussed the latest developments on the national and organizational scene.

The committee also condemned the Israeli aggression on Yemen and reiterated its support for the Palestinian cause and the people of Gaza.
