900 indebted prisoners released in Hodeida

HODEIDA, Aug. 27 (YPA) – A committee appointed by Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi has approved the release of more than 900 indebted prisoners in Hodeida province on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday anniversary.

The head of the committee, Ali Nasser Qarsha, explained that the prisoners were released after their cases were settled with the plaintiffs, noting that Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi attaches special importance to the issue of prisoners.

Qarsha pointed out that the committee decided to form a working group to release all juvenile detainees whose behavior has been corrected on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday anniversary, adding that the committee will continue to visit various provinces.
