Six people killed as heavy rains batter Hodeida

HODEIDA, Aug. 26 (YPA)- About six people were killed and four others wounded as a result of floods due to heavy rains in Hodeida province.

The province’s security department reported the killed were targeted when the heavy rains prevailed over the district of Zabid Bayt, Al-Faqih Al-Jarahi, and Al-Zahra.

The department stressed the importance of exercising caution during rain and flooding, calling on citizens to take preventative measures to avoid the risks posed by lightning and flooding.
