GAZA, Aug. 26 (YPA) – The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Tuesday that hospitals in the Strip have received 75 deaths and 370 wounded over the past 24 hours due to Israeli occupation aggression.

Meanwhile, dozens of bodies remain trapped under rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.

According to the daily statistical report of the ministry, the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023 has risen to 62,819, and the number of injuries has reached 158,629.

Since March 18, 2025 alone, 10,975 fatalities and 46,588 injuries have been recorded.

The report also noted a continuing increase in the number of “martyrs for a livelihood,” stating that 17 Palestinians were killed and 122 were injured in the past 24 hours while attempting to obtain aid. This brings the total for this category to 2,140 killed and more than 15,737 injured.

The Ministry of Health also documented three new deaths from famine and malnutrition in the past day, raising the total number of deaths from these causes to 303, including 117 children.
