GAZA, Aug. 23 (YPA) – Fourteen Palestinian civilians were killed and others injured early Saturday morning when the Israeli occupation forces bombed tents for displaced people in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, and a house in the Maghazi refugee camp, central Gaza.
Palestinian sources reported that Israeli artillery shelled tents for displaced people in the Asdaa area, northwest of Khan Yunis, killing 12 citizens, including six children and an infant, and wounding others.
They added that an Israeli drone bombed a house in the Maghazi refugee camp, central Gaza, killing two citizens and wounding others.
Al-Awda Hospital said that a number of citizens were injured when Israeli drones targeted an apartment in the Nuseirat refugee camp, central Gaza.
Two Palestinians were killed and 26 were injured in the past 24 hours as a result of the Israeli occupation forces’ shelling of civilian gatherings at aid distribution points south of Wadi Gaza. Nine injuries were transferred to Al-Aqsa Hospital for further treatment.
