Zionist officer, soldier wounded in northern Gaza

GAZA, Aug. 19 (YPA) – A Zionist officer and a soldier were moderately wounded during clashes in northern Gaza after being targeted by sniper fire, Hebrew media reported

A correspondent for Channel 12 reported on Tuesday that the officer and soldier were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment.

Earlier, Israeli platforms had reported a “security incident” in the Gaza Strip without providing immediate details.

This incident comes amid a recent escalation in operations by Palestinian resistance factions against Israeli forces across various fronts in the Gaza Strip, which have resulted in numerous casualties among the Israeli occupation military.
