LONDON, Aug. 07 (YPA) – UK Minister of International Development Jenny Chapman warned on Wednesday against deepening famine in the war-battered Gaza Strip.
In a post on X, Chapman wrote, “Famine is deepening in Gaza. Humanitarian partners are being prevented from responding,” highlighting that Israel’s visa and registration requirements for aid organizations are undermining efforts to deliver life-saving assistance.
She called on the Israeli government to immediately lift these restrictions and to allow full and safe humanitarian access to those affected within the enclave.
