SANAA, July 27 (YPA) – The International People’s Peace Conference held in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, witnessed widespread solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Participants raised Palestinian flags alongside the flags of their countries, expressing their strong support for the Palestinian cause.
The conference was opened by the Venezuelan Foreign Minister on behalf of President Nicolas Maduro, who emphasized in his speech the need for international unity and support for the legitimate rights of peoples.
The Foreign Minister stressed Venezuela’s steadfast commitment to the Palestinian cause, emphasizing the importance of international action to achieve justice and stop the war waged by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians, for no other reason than that they are demanding their freedom and the independence of their country.
The conference included many speeches and interventions that shed light on the current situation in Palestine and called on the international community to urgently intervene to stop the crimes committed by the occupation in the Gaza Strip.
During the conference, participants wore the Palestinian keffiyeh, which has become a symbol of the Palestinian struggle, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and belonging.
