Anti-smuggling unit seizes smuggled narcotic drugs in Taiz

TAIZ, July 19 (YPA) – The Anti-Smuggling Unit in Al-Hawban town, Taiz province, seized a quantity of smuggled and banned drugs during five separate operations.

The unit explained that it was able to seize 6,020 strips, 1,758 ampoules, and medicine boxes, including narcotic drugs.

It indicated that some of the seized items were hidden inside the fuel tank of a car, while other quantities were found under the seats of a bus.

The seized items were referred to the competent authorities to complete legal procedures.
