Gaza death toll tops 58,765 as Israeli aggression continues

GAZA, July 19 (YPA) – At least 58,765 people have been killed and 140,485 wounded in ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 2023, the Health Ministry said on Saturday.

A Gaza-based ministry affirmed in a statement that 98 bodies were brought to hospitals in the last 48 hours, while 511people were injured.

“Numerous victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added.

The statement noted that 14 citizens were killed and over 94 injured while trying to get food aid in the last 48 hours, bringing the total number of Palestinians killed while seeking aid to 891, with over 5,754 others wounded since May 27.
