BEIRUT, July 13 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Hezbollah strongly denied the Syrian Interior Ministry’s allegations that it had found a gunman in Homs province was affiliated with the party.
The Hezbollah public relations department said in a statement that the party has no presence or activity in Syria and has no connection to any events or conflicts there, adding its redness on Syria’s security, stability, and the safety of its people.
Hezbollah’s statement came in response to the Syrian Interior Ministry’s allegations, which claimed that its General Intelligence Service had carried out a security operation with the Internal Security Command in Homs, resulting in the arrest of a Hezbollah-linked militant who was planning to carry out what it called terrorist operations in the region.
