Al-Qassam Brigades destroy 4 Israeli vehicles while repelling incursion east of Zeitoun neighborhood

GAZA, July 12 (YPA) – The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced on Saturday the destruction of four Israeli military vehicles in a series of targeted operations carried out east of the al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

This operation is part of its ongoing response to Israeli occupation forces’ ground incursions into the Gaza Strip.

In successive military statements, the Brigades reported that its field personnel had targeted an Israeli military excavator with a highly explosive landmine on July 9, completely destroying it.

The Brigades confirmed that an air evacuation operation was monitored by an Israeli helicopter immediately following the operation.

These developments come at a time when fighting fronts in the Gaza Strip are witnessing fierce clashes between the Palestinian resistance and the occupation forces, amid an escalation in the volume of the losses of the Israeli occupation army, especially in the eastern regions of Gaza City.
