Death toll of Israeli occupation genocide in Gaza rises to 191,604 martyrs, wounded

GAZA, July 02 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced, on Wednesday, that the death toll from the Israeli genocide has risen to 57,012 martyrs and 134,592 wounded since October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the ongoing genocide, the Gaza Health Ministry stated that 142 martyrs and 487 wounded arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.

She confirmed that the death toll of starving victims killed by the occupation’s bullets near the alleged humanitarian aid distribution points has risen to 640 martyrs and 4,488 wounded, as hospitals received 39 martyrs and more than 210 wounded during the past 24 hours.

She pointed out that the death toll and injuries since March 18, 2025, has reached 6,454 martyrs, and 22,551 wounded, bringing the death toll of victims of the genocide since October 7, 2023, to 191,604 martyrs and wounded.

She also pointed out that among the martyrs included in the cumulative statistics are 223 martyrs whose data was completed and approved by the judicial committee responsible for following up on the file of reports and missing persons.

The ministry indicated that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
