OCCUPIED QUDS, July 01 (YPA) – Dozens of extremist Zionist settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday morning through the Moroccan Gate under heavy guard from Israeli occupation forces.
The Islamic Endowments Department in occupied Quds city (Jerusalem) reported that the settlers carried out provocative tours within the mosque’s courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals and prayers in its eastern area.
Meanwhile, the occupation forces intensified restrictions on Palestinian worshippers entering Al-Aqsa Mosque, confiscating their identification cards at the outer gates.
Calls continue from Jerusalemite groups urging people to mobilize, remain steadfast, and maintain a presence at the Al-Aqsa Mosque. These calls emphasize the importance of a strong turnout for prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque after its reopening, as an effective response to the occupation’s measures and attempts to sever the mosque from its religious and community context.
Daily incursions and violations by settlers and Israeli forces target Al-Aqsa Mosque—excluding Fridays and Saturdays—in an apparent attempt to alter its status quo and impose a temporal and spatial division.
