Death toll from Israeli aggression on Gaza exceeds 56,000

GAZA, July 01 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported on Tuesday that the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours has resulted in 116 deaths, including four pulled from under the rubble, and 463 new injuries admitted at hospitals in the Strip.

The ministry explained that the victims labeled as “bread seekers,” targeted while trying to reach aid distribution centers, have reached 600 martyrs and 4,278 injured since these centers began operating.

The total number of victims since March 18, 2025, has reached 6,315 martyrs and 22,064 injured, reflecting the scale of the Israeli occupation crimes committed against civilians.

Since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023, the death toll has risen to 56,647, with injuries climbing to 134,105, marking one of the bloodiest wars in recent history.

The ministry confirmed that many victims remain trapped under the rubble or in the streets, unreachable due to intense bombardment and perilous conditions.
