ADEN, June 23 (YPA) – A member of the leadership of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) called on the masses on Sunday to attack the Saudi-formed Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) and the coalition-backed Aden government in Maashiq Palace in Aden, south of Yemen.
Fadl al-Jaadi, the STC’s presidency member, wrote a post on X in which he attempted to justify the STC’s abject failure to improve the collapsing living and service conditions, placing blame on the PLC, led by Rashad al-Alimi, and the Aden government, which have so far been unable to do anything.
“If the highest authorities are unable to implement any solutions, what can the STC, which is facing criticism and is burdened with unbearable burdens, do?” he asked.
Al-Jaadi ignored the fact of the STC, which is a key partner in creating the collapse in services and living conditions.
He clarified: “It is enough for the STC to at least be fighting on the front lines to protect the southern cause,” in a clear evasion of responsibility for the collapse in services and living conditions, while its leaders continue to reside in the UAE.
