TEHRAN, June 21 (YPA) -Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, said on Saturday that his country would never agree to halt all uranium enrichment and described US actions as a ” betrayal of diplomacy.”
In an interview with NBC News, Araghchi stated: ” We no longer know how to trust the Americans. Iran will never agree to a complete halt to uranium enrichment, and Israel must end its aggression before any negotiations with the US.”
He reiterated Iran’s firm stance on its right to enrich uranium, emphasizing that this right is non-negotiable.
When asked whether diplomacy could resolve Iran’s nuclear issue within two weeks, Araghchi responded: “That depends on the Americans—whether they will show determination for the agreed solution or whether they have other plans and want to attack Iran.”
He added: “They may have such a plan, and perhaps they only need negotiations as cover for it.”
The Iranian Foreign Minister stressed, “What they (the Americans) did was a betrayal of diplomacy, and we don’t know how we can trust them again.”
Since June 13, Iran has been under continuous Zionist aggression, during which dozens of civilians, military commanders, and scientists have been assassinated, and civilian, military, and nuclear facilities have been bombed .
