TEHRAN, June 21 (YPA) – An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale has struck Iran, 87 km southeast of Semnan, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.
The quake occurred at a depth of 35 kilometers beneath the surface.
The epicenter was located in Semnan Province and the event took place at 8:49 p.m. local time on Friday, June 20, 2025.
There are no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
