Israeli drone strike kills one, injures several in southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, June 08 (YPA) – An Israeli drone strike targeted a motorcycle on a public road between the towns of Chehabiyyeh (Sour District) and Kfardounin (Bint Jbeil District) in South Lebanon, according to Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA).

The attack, carried out using two missiles, resulted in the martyrdom of one individual and left several others wounded. The identities of the victims have not yet been officially released.

The attack is the latest in a series of Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, which came into effect on November 27, 2024.

According to official Lebanese data, “Israel” has committed thousands of ceasefire violations since then, resulting in at least 208 deaths and 501 injuries.
