SANAA, June 08 (YPA)- Police in Sanaa Governorate officially launched its emergency security plan today, introducing a set of measures aimed at responding to current developments, reinforcing public security, and maintaining stability across the governorate’s districts.
The launch ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs Maj. Gen. Jalal Al-Rowaishan, Deputy Interior Minister Maj. Gen. Abdul Majeed Al-Murtadha, Sanaa Security Director Brig. Gen. Mujahid Ayed, and several military and security leaders.
During the event, various units from the governorate’s security forces conducted a symbolic parade, demonstrating a high level of preparedness, discipline, and operational readiness.
In his remarks, Maj. Gen. Al-Rowaishan praised the security forces’ preparedness, stating that the parade “sends a solidarity message to the Palestinian people,” affirming Yemen’s unwavering support against “American-Zionist aggression.”
For his part, Maj. Gen. Al-Murtadha stressed the need for heightened security vigilance to thwart hostile plots and ensure the plan’s success in maintaining stability.
