Hindi website: Yemen’s multi-warhead missile causes concern for US and “Israel”

SANAA, June 04 (YPA) – The Indian website “India” reported in a report published Wednesday by writer Nalizapatak that rising global tensions are increasing the risk of drone and missile attacks.

This escalation has made missile defense systems more important than ever and has sparked a broader debate about finding solutions to the challenges posed by this air development.

The report stated that many countries are working to strengthen their defenses against these attacks, while others are seeking to develop advanced methods to circumvent or overcome these systems.

The report cited what happened last Sunday when Ukraine demonstrated an innovative method of warfare using small drones to target Russian air bases. It also highlighted the Houthis’ unveiling of a new missile in Yemen, which has surprised and worried experts.

According to Sanaa, this new missile possesses unconventional capabilities. It not only penetrates advanced defense systems but also poses an additional risk when attacked by anti-missile weapons. This is because it is equipped with multiple small warheads that can scatter and cause greater destruction if attacked.

The report also examined images published by Houthis (Ansarallah) of a new missile test, posing direct threats to Israel. The images circulated on social media indicated their intention to use the new missile soon. The report explained that the recent attacks launched by Sanaa targeted various locations in Tel Aviv, including Ben Gurion Airport.

The report reviewed the new missile’s working principle and the concept of targeting multiple targets with a single missile warhead, explaining that this technology is not new. It was developed by countries such as the United States, Russia, and France under a system called MIRV (Multiple Independently Targetable Reentry Vehicle). This system allows a single missile to simultaneously launch multiple warheads at multiple targets.

The report confirmed that Ansarallah has become more heavily armed and organized, imposing a naval blockade on Israeli ships or those supporting them and launching increasing attacks despite intensive raids by US forces against their areas. It noted that their attacks have continued unabated.

The report concluded by noting the growing military capabilities of the Houthis, citing the 2022 incident when they jointly used a swarm of drones to attack Saudi oil facilities such as the Aramco refinery, marking the first time this tactic was used in their military operations.
