Britain supplies Ukraine with 100,000 drones

LONDON, June 04 (YPA) – The British Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday a plan to supply Ukraine by 100,000 drones at the end of the current financial year in April 2026.

The ministry said in a statement posted on the British government’s official website that Britain will invest an unprecedented £350 million (about $474 million) this year to enhance Ukraine’s drone capabilities.

This move came as part of a broader military aid package pledged by London to Kyiv, totaling £4.5 billion ($5.5 billion) through 2025, representing a record amount of British military support to Ukraine since the start of the war.

During a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, British Defense Secretary John Healey was scheduled to announce the allocation of an additional £247 million (more than $334 million) to train Ukrainian forces, in addition to 140,000 pieces of ammunition to Kyiv starting early next year.
