Al-Quds Brigades launch rockets toward Askalan, Asdod amid fighting

GAZA, May 22 (YPA) – Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, launched rockets at Askalan and Asdod in response to ongoing Israeli massacres against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

“We bombarded Asdod and Asqalan with a barrage of rockets in response to the Zionist massacres against our Palestinian people,” Al-Quds Brigades.

Air raid sirens were heard across Askalan and several Israeli settlements near the Gaza border following the rocket fire.

According to Israeli media, three rockets were launched from northern Gaza shortly after the initial siren alerts, setting off a second round of alarms in the northern Gaza envelope.
