Israeli captive’s mother: “Israeli” doesn’t want a complete deal

SANAA, May 21 (YPA) – The mother of an Israeli soldier held captive in Gaza criticized the Israeli occupation government, accusing it of not wanting a “comprehensive deal” for the release of the captives.

Anat Angrest, the mother of soldier Matan Angrest, said in a “ynet” studio interview that ‘things that could happen are not happening.’

“Hamas is telling us to take everyone, and we don’t want to and continue fighting. Hamas wants a complete deal and Israel only wants a partial agreement, this is the hardest thing to digest.”

She added that “the sense of betrayal towards Matan is so difficult and painful, there is a possibility to bring him back while soldiers continue to be killed and wounded there.”

It is worth noting that around 58 Israeli captives are still being held by the Palestinian resistance in Gaza.
