GAZA, May 15 (YPA) – A Palestinian journalist was martyred on Thursday, along with several members of his family, following an Israeli airstrike that targeted the family’s populated home in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian sources said that journalist Hassan Samour was martyred along with 11 members of his family, including his sons and brothers, as a result of the occupation’s bombing of his home in the town of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis.
After the martyrdom of Palestinian journalist Samour, a journalist for the local “Sawt Al-Aqsa” radio station in Gaza, the number of journalists martyred by Israeli fire and bombing has risen to 216 since the beginning of the genocidal war in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
