Carbon Monoxide Poisoning kills six family members in Ibb

IBB, May 14 (YPA) – In a tragic incident, six members of the Al-Zubaidi family from the village of Al-Ma’zaba, Zubaid sub-district, “As Sabrah” district of Ibb Governorate, lost their lives.

Local sources reported that the deaths were caused by carbon monoxide poisoning from generator exhaust fumes while the victims were inside a well.

The victims have been identified as:

Moeen Qaid Muhammad Al-Zubaidi (28 years old)

Adnan Qaid Muhammad Al-Zubaidi (32 years old)

Haroun Muhammad Qaid Muhammad Al-Zubaidi (17 years old)

Rafiq Abdullah Ahmed Al-Zubaidi (27 years old)

Rashid Abdullah Ahmed Al-Zubaidi (19 years old)

Bakr Abdullah Ahmed Al-Zubaidi (18 years old)

Meanwhile, Ayman Sadeq Qaed Mohammed Al-Zubaidi is still receiving treatment in the intensive care unit,

It is important to note that inhalation of generator fumes continues to pose a frequent threat, particularly in rural regions, underscoring the critical need for greater public awareness and proper safety measures.
