Sanaa Airport declares to be ready to get flights

SANAA, May 13 (YPA) – Sanaa-based Minister of Transport, Mohammed Ayash Quhim, announced on Tuesday that Sanaa International Airport has become ready to resume civilian flights.

In a news statement, Quhim confirmed that the airport has been rehabilitated by dedicated national cadres who were able to complete restoration, maintenance, and technical and engineering equipment, including the airport’s various terminals and the runway.

He added that national cadres had demonstrated high efficiency and the ability to overcome challenges under difficult circumstances.

The minister noted that the instructions of the revolutionary and political leadership and the Sanaa government were decisive in prioritizing the airport to be rehabilitated after it was targeted by the US-backed Israeli aggression, which required significant efforts from the work team.
