Hezbollah warns of Zionist plan to divide Syria

BEIRUT, May 03 (YPA) – Lebanese Hezbollah condemned on Saturday the Israeli aggression targeting Syria.

In a statement, Hezbollah considered that the aggression a blatant attack on Syria, using flimsy slogans to implement its expansionist and fragmentation projects.

The statement pointed out that the expansionist and fragmentation projects aimed to dismantle and divided Syria and sow security chaos among its people.

“The Zionist aggression is a clear attempt to undermine the stability of the Syrian state and weaken its capabilities,” it adding.

The statement also stressed “the necessity of preserving Syria’s unity and sovereignty as an independent state.”

The statement called on the international community, especially Arab countries, to take urgent action to stop this aggression against the countries of the region and their stability, sovereignty, and security.
