SANAA, April 19 (YPA) – The United States Central Command has stopped publishing details of its military operations in Yemen, amid growing uncertainty surrounding the true nature of the Yemeni situation, according to American journalist, Courtney Kube, senior correspondent for the NBC News network.
In its posts on Friday, Kube noted that US forces have carried out more than 500 airstrikes on Yemen since mid-March, but that the so-called Houthis (Ansarullah Movement) still control the airspace.
She explained that air defenses in Yemen shot down the fifth US MQ-9 drone, valued at $30 million, within weeks.
“The Trump administration is deliberately withholding information about the war in Yemen, relying instead on general statements asserting “success” without field evidence or disclosure of its military losses,” Kube added.
