SANAA, April (YPA) – Dozens of dockworkers from the General Confederation of Labor (CGT) in Fos-sur-Mer, southern France, refused to provide essential port services to the Nexo Maersk ship and delayed its docking after it was discovered that it was part of a fleet carrying armored vehicles and F-35 aircraft spare parts for the Israeli occupation army.
The workers expressed their refusing to participate in facilitating the perpetration of genocide in Gaza.
The BDS movement called on workers, unions, and civil society in ports in Spain, Morocco, and Turkey to take similar steps.
