Israeli researcher expelled from Chicago academic meeting

CHICAGO, April 08 (YPA) – An Israeli researcher has been expelled from an academic meeting in Chicago after he being protested against accusations that the Israeli occupation’s committing genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Following the start of the annual conference of the Association of Film and Media Researchers, the organizers offered an apology to the Palestinians for the massacres the occupation’s committing in Gaza.

This apology was not limited to the opening ceremony but was repeated throughout the workshops.

Israeli researcher, Gilad Padva, expressed his dissatisfaction with the discussion of the Israeli massacres against Palestinians, saying that he “felt his Jewishness and connection to Israel were being violated.”

This prompted the organizers to expel him and inform Padva that he would not be attending the conference.
