HADRAMOUT, March 12 (YPA) – One killed and 17 injured in violent clashes erupted in Al-Khasha’a area of Hadramout Valley between Dahm tribe militants and coalition forces due to a dispute over farm ownership.
Local sources explained that the violent confrontations, in which medium and heavy weapons were used, resulted in the death of one person and the injury of 17 others, most of whom were from the factions, including the “Security Director of Al-Qatn”, who was transferred to the hospital to receive treatment.
The sources added that the clashes resulted in the destruction of several military vehicles belonging to the factions, indicating that tribal mediation succeeded in halting the clashes and forcing all parties to withdraw after the bloody confrontations.
