Palestinian youth killed by Israeli occupation forces in Jenin

WEST BANK, March 04 (YPA) -A Palestinian young man was killed at dawn today by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin city.

Local sources said that special forces infiltrated al-Ghoul building in the eastern neighborhood, and shot Jihad Alawneh, which led to his injury with live bullets in the thigh, and left him bleeding to death as was confirmed later.

The Red Crescent Society said that its crews transferred a slain youth in his twenties to the hospital.

In addition, the occupation forces stormed the eastern neighborhood of Jenin city in large numbers, supported by bulldozers, and destroyed a number of streets, as those forces demanded that the residents evacuate buildings in the neighborhood.

The occupation forces closed the southern entrance to Jenin city, and the occupation soldiers were deployed in large numbers on Nablus Street, al-Asfour roundabout area, and Nazareth Street.
