Army ambushes kill several of coalition militiamen in western coast

HODEIDAH, July 23 (YPA) – Several Saudi-backed militiamen were killed and others wounded on Monday in ambushes set by the Yemeni army’s engineering units in the western coast front, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The military engineering units used fragmenting explosive devices, which were detonated during the gathering of the coalition militia in north of al-Duraihemi district of Hodeidah province, the official said.

Ambulance of the coalition forces rushed to the ambushes place to rescue the militiamen who fell in the attack, he added.

Earlier in the day, the military engineering units announced the destruction of six military vehicles in the western coast front.
